I have to be able to climb my drive way, it's already a huge hassle having to back it in, I don't want to scrape.

Dude are you going to leave those eyelids gray????? I don't know about that. Maybe if they were carbon fiber or black. Shop here in Houston painted mine for like $25 bucks.

hood pins rank up there with hood scoops/ large wingys on civics.

The eyelids are carbon fiber, you can't tell it in the picture because of the lighting.

they do look gray. are they faded? i remember shinka213's cf eyelids faded too. we can see the cf hood just fine, its in the same lighting.

they take off more skin than necessary

more than necessary for what? a 20 foot projection? If you are going for 50 foot plus you need some pins to really hook up some flesh for the dismount.
