After reading through numerous threads I found this link. I want to get some opinions on these bulbs the 5.8 ones.

Are the 6k Phillips worth the extra $100 and is the color a difference b/w 5.8K and 6K?

not sure what you are asking here and no link...

are you trying to replace fogs or high beam and match the stock hids in your car....

do you have a base model and are trying to replace the lows with something that looks like a hid?????

If your asking if your going to see a difference in color? No you will not

save the 100 bucks

 

The phillips bulbs cost more not because of the cololr but because they are considered to be the best HID bulbs. Most all the other bulbs are made in japan.

 

I have one Hid and one stock light! the a$$ monkey that fixed my car could not get 2 stock lights so he put a Hid on the driver side. Saved me some money. Now I just need some fog lights to go with them.

 

I have factory HID low beams and was wondering if there was a difference b/w 5.8 and 6K in color?

I went ahead and ordered the 6k Phillip bulbs the other was an off brand and I did not want the headaches.

let us know how it goes. i know someone just recently put piaa 6k somethings to repalce the did lows and it cut on and off.

think the bulbs were bad, havent heard back from them.

if you are trying to match your lows to your fogs pm me i found a good inexpensive match....

I could be wrong but I thought that 5.8k was the highest phillips made... Do you have a link to ones you bought?
