HID Fogs

Hey guys, just thought I'd chime in. I just recently got the HID kit for H11s for my fogs from therpmstore.com and was about to go install them. Was just wondering if anyone else has done this yet? I was kind of worried about ruining my cutoff that I get from having my H7s installed and wondered if anyone else has these installed? I'll be doing the 55 watt ballast today so we'll see how it turns out. I would like to do the Fog light projector mod but haven't been able to find any help yet with that. Most likely I'll end up buying another HID kit because all the projectors I seem to find turn out to be H3s.

i installed mine a few months ago...got 3000k 35w...since the hid bulbs are longer than the halogen h11, the little shield inside the assembly will need to be pushed a little more inside to compensate for the extra length of the hid bulb..i did this gently with a screwdriver until i had enough space....i got 12000k (purple) on my headlights and i can definitely tell it does pass the cutoff line of the projectors and i also noticed that the light of the fogs also projects off to the sides almost in a 90 degree angle and is more noticeable when im next to car driving on the road im guessing since i had to move the shield

Installed them the other day... Fit was tight but it works fine... I'd much rather have projectors but I also went ahead and sealed the fogs with high temp red silicone stuff.

do a search on rotaryrasp's foglight thread, he went through a couple of iterations on his setup and eventually settled on some PIAA projectors if i remember correctly
