But a word of advice, don't go higher temperature than 8000K.
Purple is like 12000K and in my opinion and most people's they just look somewhat...trashy... 8000K gives off a sky blue color that is somewhat exotic, but the perfect color temp would be 7000K.
I mean you can do what you want, but I wouldn't go that high.
But Ebay is a good place do it. I got my kit, with ballasts, bulbs, wires, everything for like $80 shipped.
