Question Help please! Accident question

Alas, I've scrapped my 2006 car (bumper and side panel) on a garage pillar and I haven't made a claim in decades and I have questions.

In the seam between the bumper and the left panel is a quarter-size dent and then on the bumper I've scratched it several times. I took compound the remove the pillar paint but I've got the following questions I trust only you members to ask:

When I go for a fix do I have them:

-- hammer out the little dent or
-- replace the side panel entirely?

Ditto the bumper -- would you get it replaced, too, and what do you think the entire fix will cost?

Thanks for reading!!

They most likely won't hammer it out, but use one of those suction poppers.
It really going to be hard to answer these questions without seeing it. Can you take pics? I would tend to replace it if I had the funds since it's an 06, but that can also have issues with paint match. Guess I'd say.........find a very good body shop and let them take a look and see what they think. You can get several estimates and see if you are comfortable with any of them. I would also ask friends and co-workers if they know a good body shop. If nothing else, try call Rosenthal Mazda on Glebe in Arlington and ask them or search the Vendors thread and send Tommy at Rosenthal a note, but the dealership may not be the best place to go.

Thank you, Mazurfer. You've given me some good and valuable food for thought. I'll start my search tomorrow.
