I ordered the seibon matte finish tsI hood (thanks to topgear8 for the idea) last thursday and the hood arrived TODAY.. took them less than a week to get the hood shipped out from california to new york! so here are some pictures :)

thanks for looking guys! My next step is gonna be to recoat my front lip with the matte finish so it matches. I'm open to suggestions! :wiggle:

oh man, i love this hood! nice choice - topgear's is sweet. i didn't realize they made a wet (shiny) and matte version though. so i guess the matte finish looks like dry carbon?

take come close-ups w/ light. i have bb so i really don't know what looks better w/ bb, shiny or matte. hmmm

good point! damnit. i guess i've can't picture the shiny cf on a bb, so i don't know what to compare it too. tg's does look sweet though. i have a "shiny" cf trunk lid, but honestly it fits like sh-t and i wouldn't mind saving up for a matte lid if i thought it would look better. maybe one day i'll be able to see one in person, that's probably the only way to tell.

congrats though. it looks sweet! how was the shipping rate? the price on their site looks reasonable.

where'd u get the hood from? u can always get the lowest prices from mark@GTSpec in their long island office. i think they're a seibon distributor as well as alot of other good brands too. they get stuff in like 1-2 days. i like to buy my brand name stuff from there, not to mention he also has a hooked up BB rx8.

i don't see a matte cf trunk that seibon makes, at least not on that site. does anyone know if they make one? are hood and trunk far enough away that one wet and one matte wouldn't look weird?? i think it WOULD look weird.

gh8st - you still thinking about roof and trunk cf overlay? wonder if i can find a matte cf trunk anywhere...that's NOT made by vis :P

i know where that is. i got a hella deal for it, so i'm fine.. and i got it in less than a week :)

The fitment looks really good! I think the areo flares would not look good with your car. I would much rather see the MS sides. Also Not a big fan of the eyelids..... LOL you asked I gave you my opinion. I do think your car looks Great! I am totally digging the Matt carbon for sure!

I would love side skirts.. but i already scrape my under carriage occasionally when i hit bumps :( and the eyelids are temporary.. i'm gonna use the leftover dry cf vinyl to redo them :) thanks for your opinions!
