I'm Getting tint tommrow SCWEET! ill post pics. anyways Texas state law says it can be 25% on the front and back side windows, and any percentage on the back window. what would be a good combo? or should i just go 25% all around?

 

i got 5% on the back 3 and 20% on the doors im happy with it. i dont get hassled by the cops

LOL haha, idk im thinking just going 25% all around, i also dont want the back toooo dark to the point it looks like night time when its really day haha. well Hopefully it goes well today, imma try to get them to do an eyebrow on the front windshield. Well he quoted me for $80 with lifetime warranty SCWEET!

 

Just got it done, i did 20% all around, with 5% eyebrow on the windshield, ill take pics later if i can find my camera, well peace! i have to go to work :/

!!!$80 wow what a steal. I want 20% all around like my other cars but since the prev owner of my 8 had tint installed it will cost me $225 to have it stripped and put back on.. for that price.. I will just keep what I got.

 

yeah I had 20% done all around as well... I really wish I had gone darker because night driving isnt any worse than without tint

I had darker 5% before on my other cars as well as 10% and 15% as well. You may THINK that anything darker than 20% will work, but it really does hinder some of your abilities to see at night. Especially with a car with as many blind spots as the RX8!

 

Just got back from work. Total was $95 cause i wanted a eyebrow on the front windshield.

And yes the driver side mazda speed sticker is crooked because when i was applying it, i got a text message and i was like oh **** :[ couldnt do anything about it haha

Stickers look horrible. Nice tints though. I wish that NY would allow more than 70% tints. WTF, might as well say no tints at all since 70% is basically nothing.

Isn't stock like 74? In Jersey we're not allowed tint on the front but that law can suck my tailpipes.

I don't like the idea of getting tickets. Driving a VR rx8 in NYC is already obnoxious enough .

When I got my tint done they covered my window switches with tape... it was hilarious I couldnt roll down the windows for 3 days

Thanks bro. i didnt want togo to dark in the back, cause it would be to dark to back out at night. lol and i wanna keep some view around my soundings while driving like the police lol.
