I'm getting the oem spoiler (the half moon shaped one) is doing your own install easy or should I take it to a shop?

I too am curious about this. I just bought a white RX8 without the spoiler (not enough cash at the time. I'm only 19 and I'm paying for the 8 by myself). I know I can get the painted part from Rosenthal for $300, but can I install it myself? Do I have to drill through the paint or make any exacting measurements? I don't mind a challenge, but if theres a big risk of damaging my car I'd rather pay to have it done. Any input is appreciated!
