Getting my windows Tinted Monday

so i just got off the phone with this dude from a local tinting shop. the darkest you can go in SC is 35% so i talked to him and he said i could do 20% on back window and 20% on the small side windows. He told me that i could go with 28% on the passenger and driver side windows and he would give me the paper work saying it was legal.

my question is do you guys think that it will look good even tho the tints will be different percentages?

150 is a good price IMO just make sure they give you a lifetime warranty that many places give these days

Ya but it's worth it. I roll down my windows to back up at night...that's it. And since it's like 80 degrees and not rainy here almost year round here it's usually fine to do that.

Um, about the tint on the tails, you can use VHT Nightshades (I used this for my clear corners), or get it professionally done at a body shop (that's what I did for my tails and heads)...looks sick when it's all done

i got 5 and 35 on the fronts since its illegal to have the fronts in nj.. in the day time it doesnt look too bad at all, its way better than no tint, and at night its very hard to even notice the difference in tints. If you have any doubts about it tho, i would say just get them matching...the worst thing is paying for it and then regretting it

150 is a pretty good price, i got mine for 175 and i really think u get what u pay for when it comes to the cheap tint shops

When deciding mine I think Ontarios laws are only the driver and passenger have to be minimum 35% and I did 15%. No trouble yet. 5% in the back.

I would hardly say blending means to much of a difference I could have easily done 5% in the back 35% up front because you could hardly notice.

ALSO** take into consideration that whatever you put will automatically darkens the remaining windows. No light from the back will mean my 15% naturally looks darker.

for $30 (on ebay) you can do it your self. It's not hard to do and they come pre-cut.
