Nope, we have always had front plates (at least in the almost 20 years I have been driving anyway).

I think everyone has to wear one now. But honestly I never ride in the back seat of anyone's car.

Another alternative is just to tape it using the 3M Automotive Acrylic Plus Attachment Tape (PN# 06382). The advantages are that you can choose exactly where you want to locate the plate, you don't need to drill the bumper and that you can bend it so it follows the car's curvature. The only disadvantage is that you would need to be very careful when taking it off.

Sorry for the crappy cell pic.

This alternative would look the best on the 8s with no front lips.

Similar to 'Maui', but I screwed mine. I hit a debris on the highway and cracked my bumper so I used the plates to cover it.

It's not mandatory to have front license plate in Nevada. Both of my cars don't even have holes in the front of the car. It's kinda ugly when you have plates in front of the car, depends on the car you drive...

Well, mine starts with 5EX which at first glance reads as "SEX".
I'm fine with that

Still, one plate is enough on the car. I only got one ticket from a meter maid who gave me a parking ticket and in addition, one for the missing front plate. This in over seven years.
I chalked that up as a beauty tax and simply paid it. Whatever.

Two years ago, some *** gave me a ticket for expired meter; two weeks later, I received a no-front-plate ticket along with the expired meter in the mail... Tell me how gay that was!
