Front End Bra (Not Clear Bra)
I have read that many people do not like the black front end bras. My question is what are the cons with using this? Does it mess up your paint? Or is it just an appearance factor that make people dislike them.

Other than no longer being "fashionable," the major problem with vinyl bras is the tendency to (a) scratch the paint, (b) trap water under the bra, especially in rainy climates, and (c) create a difference in paint color, especially in sunny climates.
Most bra manufacturers recommend removing the bra and cleaning the car whenever the car is washed or is subject to heavy rain. Not an enjoyable task.

If you end up taking your front liscense plate off, there is nothing to hold the front flap down. So even driving at normal speeds will cause air to make the front middle of the bra flap around in the wind. Not really good for the finish, and it looks bad to have your bra all flapping around.
I had to resort to tying it down with clear fishing line. It worked, buts its not fun to take off or put back on.
