Front bumper repair

Hey guys. I have a question about a damaged front bumper. To make a long story short, truck tire shreds eat bumpers. I was told by a member of this forum that it's a legit mazdaspeed front. I ran around town getting some estimates done on repairs and the best I could find was ~$950. This includes repairing the bumper, repainting, a new splash guard, paint and labor. I believe a new front unpainted would cost ~$1600ish?

Basically I just wanted to know if this price sounds outrageous or not, or what you guys would recommend as an alternative. The damaged mazdaspeed sticker I'm not too worried about, as I plan on taking them off anyway. The one picture I would get to work did, figures it doesn't show the chip out of the bumper...but it's just off center to the right, about the size of my palm. I'll keep trying to get the picture to post.

That cost sounds about right. However, if you have time, take it to a few different body shops to get a proper estimate.

A new, unpainted authentic front will cost (if you can find one) approx $1200+ shipping.
