What is the difficulty level involved with the installation of the aforementioned pieces? I will probably get a front mask soon... so I may decide to get the front air dam now in order to avoid buying a second mask later.

I've haven't installed the front air dam, so I can't help you there. The front splash guards are fairly quick and easy to install, but it requires you to remove the rock guard and cut it. The rear splash guards are also fairly easy to install, but it will require you to remove the rear bumper and drill some holes, which are pre-marked at the factory. The side flares are the hardest. They will require you to remove the rear wheels and drill holes into the sheet metal beneath the doors. You do this by taping paper templates to the inside of the flares, test fitting them, and marking the drill spots. I didn't think the instructions were very good, so make sure you understand them before you start, and none of these are 15 minute projects. If you don't have any experience doing this sort of thing, expect to spend the better part of a day doing it, but they are all totally doable by a non-mechanic/body shop.

i hear with the front splash gaurds your limited to 18 inch rims? its that true?

 

Thanks much for the info, now to just decide whether I want to pay 500 for a plastic strip (air dam) or just wait for an aftermarket front end hmmm...
