Foglights & INGS Front Nose
Hey guys,
Just wondering if anyone knows if the INGS front nose will accomodate my foglights.
Is there a bracket available, will the mazdaspeed bracket work?
thanks

Doesn't come with brackets for fog lights... ask your body shop for help on that. They should know how to mount it somehow... there's always home depot like Mike said.

I have the ings , but can't figure out how to accomodate the factory fog lites to it without it looking uniform, so its to the search and trial method for me...If I come up with something that works ,I'll post it,and if you die hard tricksters come up with a solution, please share it , the mind is a terrible thing to waste, oh yeah :p

Personally, Because the side holes curve in from the center of the mouth on the front nose, I would think that the best place to put the lamps would be in the top far corners of each side hole of the nose. Gives it a wide agressive look, and should fit nicely.
I think thats where im gonna get my bodyshop to mount mine.

If you find a solution let me know, I've not had them on since I put the INGs on in the summer. Don't really miss them, its hardly ever foggy enough to warrant needing them!
I was thinking of getting some custom stainless steel grills made up for the three main vents, if you remove the fog lamps from the moutings they end up with three screw type mounts, so something could be made up with steel brackets in the grills to accomodate the screw bits.

I think they are made by an Italian company, but I got them through Mania Racing in the UK. www.wheelmania.co.uk
They are called Vermont, they do them in a polished chrome too, I went for the hyper silver which suits the titanium. My wife actually chose them!
A few more pics attached.

Yeah, Im looking foreward to the borla.
Just a question,
You lowered your car, did you get the MS springs, or what suspension mods have you done, because I was thinking about lowering it in the summer, but I figure that id need staballizer bars because of the body roll the 8 has.

Nope, not lowered. Standard ride height, but in those photos I was running on 225x40x18 rubber. So ever so lightly lower than the stock tyres.
Now using 245x40x18, which is almost back to stock height, but wider.

Hmm,
I was just thinking,
Maybe to make my life easier, I could sell me stock foglights, and then get a more universal type?
Maybe this would make it easier to install.
Plus, I could get blue tinted ones!! :D :D
Im thinking something similar to this in style (not price)
http://www.rx8garage.net/?page=shop/...ae361160bcb00&
Something simple that just mounts on.
What do you guys think?

EDIT** What are PIAA fog lights like?? Good quality?, Im looking at a pair of bright white 55W bulbs. Do these burn out easy or anything?? Ideally, I want foglights that will look close to stock, (circle, not too big) but discharge a light thats similar to my Xenon headlamps.
