Foglight LEDs

Not to pleased with the foglight LEDs that I bought.

OEM on the left and white LEDs on right. Barely visible in the day.

Pics at night.

Pic at shop.

I wish I would've seen this thread before I bought mine. These look awesome.

Which ones did you get? I removed the metal cap from inside the foglight housing, maybe you should try the same thing.

Live and learn.

Just about anything you can think of has been thought of before and there will be more than just a few threads on it. That's what's great about the net(and this site), you can search a little bit(sometimes al ot) and this will tend to keep you from making mistakes...............at least some.

So what brand and what exact LED did you put in there? Maybe someone else will see this and think that they aren't to their liking either.

same thing happened to me, so I removed the reflector inside the fog light housing.

yeah i have LED foglights too. they are less bright than the OEMs but for me they juss look cleaner bluish white, which is good cuz it matches the white LED parking lights and my white LED corners as well. so for me, the tradeoff is better, but accoring to these guys, i guess if u wanna get brighter, juss pull the reflectors.

Thanks for the replies guys. Removing the reflector guards is a great idea! I do wish they were brighter but I agree with Doublegoose, I'm happy with the color match. These are the ones I bought from Ebay.
