Foggy Headlights

I have an 04 and the plastic headlight housing is foggy/discolored. Is this common for this car?

Thanks guys. Sorry if this question has been asked a thousand times before... I'm still learning but this forum is definitely one of the best I've ever been on!

okay so im here to get back to you guys with my results from the kit i mentioned above. it actually works pretty well. im happy with the results. i heard that its only temporary and itll get just as bad in a short amount of time but i dont kno the truth behind that. im going to try clearcoating it maybe? havent decided...but i heard it helps. but all in all the kit worked and i recomend it.

anything to seal the pores will work to slow it down. i use that simply because i also treat all the glass on my car at the same time.

That type of discoloration is most likely oxidation.
You don't need to resurface your headlights with one of those cleaning kits unless there is extensive surface damage you need to remove.
To avoid creating new damage to the lens with abrasive cleaning kits,
use a non abrasive acrylic lens deoxidizer to safely clear up headlight oxidation.

Those will work unless you are super lucky like my and have hazing on the inside of the lens.
