Fitting bodykits
so there's a lot of talk about kits that don't fit well... replicas as well as originals.
i was wondering if it's just a matter of fiberglass then sanding.
or if there's a specific procedure based on where the fitment is off
i'd rather spend my time than money giving it to a body shop
also if it's just fiberglass that's needed, then any tips/tricks on working with it?

Wanna fill 0.5"x 6" holes along the side markers?
Or 2" off for side skirts?
How about 1" shorts on both side for rear bumper?
I paid $2700 and waited 3weeks for front to be color matched and installed....
The rest are still waiting for more $.
After a month, front bumper start to crack because the retainer bends the bumper to fit.
By far for my car, this is the most regret mod I have ever.
Dam you Extreme Dimension. I should have found this forums before I bought it.

I zoom therefore I am.
if you've never done body work of any kind, starting on fixing a bad fitting kit isn't the best place.
Some issues can be as simple as a little bit of filler and then smoothing it out. Others can be warping and kits not lining up at all that require cutting of the kit and major reworking.
