Finally, a rusted rotor solution!

Three years later and I've finally come up with the solution. All it took was random searching on Japanese web sites! Nice to see they share the same issues we're having, only difference is that they've found a solution.

so Japan hasn't discovered paint yet?

Can't argue with this being a heck of a lot easier than paint. Wouldn't want any of their color options but I found it amusing none the less.

i guess if u got that then u wouldn't need to paint the calipers.

Availability would be the issue here. By the time you got it all the way over here you'd be able to buy a set of 2-piece rotors.

Match those up with some fake caliper covers from eBay and you'll have some badass looking brakes!

It looks like a good idea. But. It still leaves an area of rust on the rotor surface.
I'll just paint them black.

Note the ring around them. That is where mine rust.
