TX Fender question

So, er, um... I had an argument with a (barbed wire!) fence the other day. Really embarrassing, and it messed up my fender. I found replacement fiber fenders at http://www.autopartswarehouse.com, but it lists compatibility as 2004-2008 base and 2008-2008 GT. I have a 2004 GT model. Will this be a problem? Are the fenders really different between GT and base?

Also, how hard is it to replace fenders DIY style? I'm kinda short on cash, TBH.

Thanks! Yeah, pics or it didn't happen, but deal

simple DIY.

Take the finder liner plastics loose, then there are 3 bolts running up the inside rail of the engine compartment, then there are 3 more bolts in the gap when you open the door.

Lining up the new one may take a bit of patience, but you should be able to manage.

I believe all the bolts are 10mm.

Good luck.

Thanks, appreciate the help. Managed to remove all the broken bits, now it's just waiting for the replacements... This community is awesome.
