Fabulous Rear Questions

Anyone have one? I am going to order it tomorrow but I want to make sure that fitment is not an issue, anyone know? I have yet to see a real good description about fabulous in general... Thanks! Also, how much should I expect to spend extra on prep compared to oem?

ask Macius8

not sure what OEM will go for, but fiberglass prep, paint, install will be around 300-400 for one-tone. more if you want to paint the diffuser a different color.

I cant tell you what it costs at shop because I did all the work in my friends garage, including painting. I would say in the 350 range. The bumper does need more prep work than usual. It does not come primed and it needs quite a bit of sanding, but I'm guessing that goes with all fiberglass pieces. Its not as bad as it sounds though. Fitment is about average from what I have seen. I had a problem with the drivers side corner, but with enough time and patience you can adjust it to look just right. Hope this helps, if you have any other q's let me know.

I'm going crazy! Now I'm thinking about the Kenstyle rear. The only thing is that i dont like the look with one exhaust tip. Is it worth it to buy dual ti tips and weld them on?

it really depends on your style. what's your front going to be? i dont think any aftermarket bumper will flow well without any front or sides.

Looking at this pic of Macius8's car from the back. It looks like the rear is about as high as the stock rocker panel. I mean it seems to line up with the body if you picture it without side skirts. I think it would look OK without side skirts. It seems to flow with the body alright.

it probably is stock height, but since the side of the car curves in at the bottom, it'll still look a lil weird.

thats what i was thinking. I am so confused on which bumper to get. If i get the vertex, i would love to complete the kit with all vertex--my favorite full kit. otherwise, for some reason i dont like the fabulous without the foglight and some more contrast...
