Escutcheon (cover keyhole) replacement?
Escutcheon (cover keyhole) replacement?
Has anyone tried replacing the driver side escutcheon with one of the passenger side to cover the keyhole? It looks like it will fit (just flip it upside down), but I wanted to confirm. If it will work, does anyone know how easy it is to remove the escutcheon? Thanks.

^^ No need to open the door, he gets in Dukes of Hazzard style
Actually, he uses a remote and door poppers.
I'm wondering: how can the door be opened if the battery is dead?

battery was dying/dead all the way home from SEMA, made it awesome fun when we got back to Austin from Vegas (which took over 20 hours with 2 people trading off) I have an emergency release cable that hooks up directly to one of the doors that pulls the popper and triggers the latch just like a door handle basically.
Looks like the group buy I mentioned turned out to be a bust. Lots of unhappy people across the net. Anyway here is the thread.
