Ok, so I have searched ebay for rx-8 fog lights and get a ton of stuff. A few say OEM fog lights and come complete with switch, yet the price is 50 bucks! How can these be OEM and if they are not are they worth 50 bucks?

I have OEM ones and I've always wanted to get the tinted yellow ones off ebay. I've seen a bunch of 8's with the ebay ones and even though some of them might not be OEMs, the quality is on par with the OEM one

 

I got mine from the same guys (AZpartsexpress) and they are stand up guys. They made a mistake on my order rectified it with no hassle. They are OEM parts including the steering column control stalk should you have a base model that had no fogs.

Notice that you never see the clear lense fogs on eBay for that cheap. I don't think the optional fog light colors are much of a hit at the dealership so there's probably a lot of overstock. I'm guessing that's why you can get them so cheap. Same goes for the appearance pieces for discontinued colors. I got my air dam from AZpartsexpress, highly recomended seller.

 

yeah thats true. i got the blue ones, the light itself isnt blue when turned on its a white color.
