Lightbulb Door replacment Color match

When I bought my car the right rear door was badly dented. I got an estimate of 600 to repair /repaint. However I found on ebay a door for 250 shipped; same color,

My question is, will the paint match or will it be a different shade? Anyone had this experience?

Thanks for the help

-mike

It depends. If the ones on EBay is the original color, then it should match with yours.

Yes it is the same original color, I wonder if the body shop is just trying to rip me off by telling me they will need to paint it. They said that color would be close but wouldn't really match well.

I got a used back door from soflosalvage for $250. Color matches perfect but there was a ding in it... Better than the hole that was in mine though.

It depends, I put a new VR bumper on my car and the color difference is noticeable but not drastic.

too many factors to give you an honest answer.
even if the cars are from the same year and both sporting OEM factory paint, it depends on how these cars were maintained over the past couple years.

out door cars?
waxed / polished frequently?
located in high temp area? snow?
paint will fade differently in different environments and whether the car is exposed to sun often (outdoor car vs garage, etc) so it will never be an exact match.

it could be anywhere from "close enough" to "very noticeable"
