I finally hat to face my clumsiness today... at a gas station. I pulled up to the pump but inadvertently aligned the driver door with the pump protector/post thing. I opened the door to what I thought would miss the post but just hit it with the slightest of force. Unfortunately a corner still dinged the door, and now there is a 'dimple' about the size of a half-dollar halfway up the door near the edge.

Are there any good options for this? or is this a live-with-it kind of thing?

 

there are dent removal services that don't damage the paint. ask your local service department if they know of any in your area. some dealerships around here have dent removal services. something like $50 - $100 dollars a dent.
