I got a few hundred dollars to be spending and I want to get something for the outside of my car but dont know what to get. I got a black 2004 rx8 stock except for an exhaust. I thought about getting new rims to black it out so right now that is what im going to do as of now. So just wanted to see what else there is i could do possibly.

Does your car have the OEM appearance package? You could pick up some AP pieces from azpartsexpress (on ebay) for a couple hundred. I got a little Christmas money and I think I'll be getting some side aero flares from them.

I vote clear corner markers, super white leds for parking lights and side marker lights, 6000K HIDs, if you have HIDs that is. IMO these are the best mods to start off. Gives it a much cleaner look.

 

tint the sidecorners like mine.



dont get black rims though. solid black cars are so overplayed. tint the windows is a good idea.

but i'd definitely think about another color for rims. bronze? dark silver? something to really set off the blackness of the car. make it pop.

 

Honestly, you can't do much with a few hundred dollars on the exterior. You can get used lowering springs, window tints, or HID's. If I were you, I would save up a little more to do something bigger such as an aftermarket bodykit, rims, etc.

 

get the mazdaspeed body kit or a set of rims.. if thats too much $$ get the apearence package..
