I want to shave off my entire back, all 3 of the symbols, the mazda symbol, the mazda letteriing, the rx-8 lettering

Do anyof them leave holes, are they attached?

 

should of just searched this sh.. up, but I believe only the 'RX-8' has holes..

So the "M" symbol and MAZDA lettering leaves no holes, and should be clean to remove?

Does anyone have a pic of a silver 8 with no "M" symbol or MAZDA lettering?

ah, got them backwards. i've never them off, I just thought it was the rx8. oh well. guess two of us learned something.

flying m symbol and mazda have holes.....flying m is 2 and mazda is 3

 

buddman your rear is nice, I want the same thing, without the center "M" Symbol, anyway to cover the holes?

 

all the emblems have holes except for the rx-8 logo, this has been discussed to death on here, you'll have to have a body-shop fill/blend the holes if you want it to look decent, the front bumper one also has 2 posts/holes, same deal, fill/blend. Probably going to run you a couple hundred bucks to do, but it definitely looks a lot better than having all that crap on your trunk.

 

My fronts already debadge, I think I'll get a custom emblem to replace the back "M" symbol, and put the RX-8 lettering where MAZDA is at...

I don't know whether to debage the rear completley, or just leave the M...I'm not taking off the front emblem...it just makes it look deserted and plain in the front...

 

if ur going to pay to repaint the trunk, debadge it all.

 

What I decided to do. I want the rear to be clean looking. But I still want the front to look good. And I've seen it without the badge in the front and I don't like it.

 

Paint the "M" badge......sand it down and paint it with high gloss black paint...looks clean....i did this on my BB
