De-badging front badge

Hi guys,
I have a Mazdaspeed "MS" badge that I want to use up front, which is smaller (Efini sized) than the flying M.
First, how difficult is it to remove the OE badge

Secondly, I assume that the badge is "clipped" from the inside, under the insulation.
Am I right?

Thanks!

If I remember corrected, yes it is stuck on from the inside and the adhesive. You'd have to take of your bumper and take the badge off through that. I'm sure you wouldn't try to pull it...

Main concern is to not wreck the bumper. Make sure you heat the adhesive and with the underside loose, should be a piece of cake.

Which MS badge are you speaking of by the way?

It has three pins plus 3M tape - I have a spare one somewhere in the basement...

Thanks guys, I was hoping that I didn't have to pull the bumper (especially with the airdam).

I still want to do it, but it may have to wait 'til next spring.

NGO, Here's a pic of the MS badge. I kinda like it.
Thanks again!

Wow, that's the first time I've ever had rice thrown at any of my cars...
Remind me not to tell YOU about the MOMO stuff.
Thanx

eh, it'll look cool, personally I despise emblems so I had all mine shaved/removed/whatever. The front is held in by 2 pins and adhesive just like previously mentioned, so my concern for you would be matching up the holes. (rice?...since when are emblems rice? othen than "type r" being thrown on pickups lol, at least it's a Mazda emblem going on a Mazda car)
