I called and asked about a ballpark figure to have this done. $550 to $600.

No it's not. If these are actually Daylight Demon Eyes then thats is a good price. Who did you call Razpewton, this guy??

I remember that DDE's for and e46 could run from $600 - 900

Did he make these himself, or are they actually DDE's?

These are Neon gas-filled lights w/ a transformer .. the cheaper ones use a halogen or LED bulb.

I called Rick at the euroboutique website. He said it takes them up to 9 days to complete this process and that the inner eye is actually suspended there so they wouldn't look "cross-eyed". From what I understood, you have to send them you headlights as well, which only makes sense. The problem would be what we would do for headlights in the meantime. Anyways....I really like the work...but gonna have to prioritize my MODs.

Just thinking on the cheap side, maybe I should say inexpensive method. Having been a mod computer entusiast, working with neons, cold cathodes and LEDs, I wonder what the diameter of the headlight ring is as such. If it is what it looks like to me, an 80MM round cold cathode tube that is used for 80MM fans might just do the trick and these sell for so little now days providing you can find a source. I did find a source for some that could be easily modified to fit due to the fact that they have a dual ring, the center ring could be removed and the mounting could be easily modified to look very nice. Of course the second ring could maybe be left but it would probably be too hot to do so.

Here is a pic of the lit up dual tube round cold cathode 80MM fan, which, btw, runs on 12V DC. Look familiar?

This would look something like the second pic if the second ring could be left.

Same, as long as its not a rediculous amount.

I think the eyelids are neccesary though, it seems to hide the wires from the one around the projector quite nicely.

We need one test car in the local area so we can perfect it, instead of doing the one-off that our partner install facility did on this one.

Figure initial opening prices around $99 for a basic kit, $129 for a kit with relay and harness.
Final pricing 20% higher upon intro.

Now, why would a moderator do that to your next supporting vendor :D

We spoke to Peter (owner of the site) today, we're just finalizing some details on our sponsorship for the forums

Unfortunately, we need to be more specific in our own location information.
We are in NorCal. Our location has been updated now.

Peter I believe is the owner (maybe his name is Ryan, I barely heard the name, but had a good chat with him nevertheless )

Getting Ryan confused with Peter? you may mean another mod who I'm not sure he wants his real name posted (but his name is not Peter)

still a bit fishy...once I see your name in the vendor forums listing I'll believe you and be interested in purchasing from you too
