I just sold my mintblue spoiler cause I cant see drilling holes into my carbon trunk

 

the trunk would be made without the third brake light, so relocate of the third brake light is necessary!

 

oh and i am dropping my car off this wednesday for the trunk to be made, they said it'd take about two weeks for them to finish the product. when it is done and installed on my car i will take pictures of it. to mods: please pm me on the fees for vender and how to apply to be a vender, thanks.

yes, the car has been dropped off. i should have pictures of the custom trunk in about two weeks time. the final product should be something closely resemble the M3 CSL trunk (wingless trunk with the look of a wing integrated into it), the third brake light will be eliminated also. fiberglass version will be available. this shop is thinking about becoming a vender on our forum.

yep, i expect it to look very similar to that. except its to the shape of a half mint blue wing ( the full wing sticks out too far )

 

snapped some pictures today of the prototype trunk. i am not going to sevenstock but one of my buddies is going to drive my car to SS10 to show off the trunk. i will post pictures of the prototype later tonight if not then tomorrow morning. a interest group buy thread will then follow. when the trunk is done and i have all the spec to it ( how much it weights, the final product etc etc ) i will start a group buy thread.

looks like it will be nice once finished and painted... why is the car so dirty? looks like they didnt even take the trunk off when working on it... nice coat of dust over the back. Also looks like stuff is on the edge below the trunk... blue paint or something? I'm sure they'll clean it up and all, but seems like they shoulda thrown a cover of some sort over parts of the car.

the blue thing is just blue paint tape.
and thats actually my oem trunk with the mint blue wing chopped about 3/4 off. its a real-life rough sketch. my car's gonna be at SS10 with the final product on. so you'll all see it by then.
