Appreciate the comments ... poll is running about 3-1 right now ... so you are not alone. For me, the rotor shaped recess in the bumper cries out for more than a little trim ring ... so that's why I made it ... I think the Euro cars look much more complete with their rear fog.

Thanks again for the feedback.

Thanks ... well, that's why I designed reflectors and lamps ... cause some folks don't want the lamp but like the idea of dressing up that rotor recess. When it is lit up, it looks really sweet.

The rotor-shaped recess looks more complete to me with a lens/lamp there. I like making the lamps for the car. Another place that is missing the lamps on the N/A cars is the mirrors (puddle lamps) ... I've reproduced those as well. There are some cool features MAZDA left off our cars ... I just figured I'd put 'em back .

Heck .. you're not that far ... I'd love to see/hear the umnitza.

Let me know if you'd like to meet up, maybe go over and see Charlie at MAZCARE ... he's asked about the puddle lamps in the past ... so I have a purpose .

I'm curious if you could mount a camera in the clear lense, or is the lense not clear? I like what Rotorgeek did to his third brake light here.

The clear fog would be a good spot for the camera, right?

I would guess the height of the camera would be a bit too low where it would not show alot of what is behind you. I am sure it could be done but you would have to find a way to mount it.

Actually talking with someone about this very config ... definitely "possible". The lense can be water clear.

I had seen that mount ... very nice looking for sure.

Definitely could be mounted ... might even give a little better perspective of low objects immediately behind the 8 ... maybe we'll find out.

It's amazing that one bad feedback can make it appear that someone is a suspicious seller...

Contact DerWankel

Does anybody know how to contact derwankel? He is no longer accepting PM. I wanted to see if he still had the 4th brake light available and to see if the flip-up screen w/guage cluster was finished, as well as to know what other mods he has cooked up.

Thanks,
Lynn

I have been seeing a number of cool mods he has manufactured and was wondering if they were available for sale. I really like the 4th brake light and the work he is doing on the flip-up screen (especially if it incorporates the 3 guage pods). I would love to see what other creations he has cooked up and has available for sale.

Thanks,
Lynn

You'll find him on the dark side. Der's a great guy and I definitely plan to purchase from him again. I love my rotary accent light!
