I want to upgrade my bulbs to a 6500k bulb but would I have to change out the ballasts too? Or could I get away with just bulbs?

 

You just want to swap to a different bulbs right? There is nothing wrong with the old bubs right? Both are still working right? Then, you don't need to change the ballast for that, unless your ballast is bad.

 

Make sure you get the right type - we use D2S in the HID projector.

Should be able to pick up some nice 6500k D2S's for less than $40 online, don't be afraid of the chinese brands, they may not last the lifetime of the car, but they only cost 10% of the OEM price!
