well crap...didn't even think to check if that piece was seperate or not.

i am very much backing up Gemini's quality! like i said before...go to their site and look at the blue 8...thats mine and my hood fits perfectly!

so any ideas on making that whole piece CF? if i get anything it will be the same as my hood...CF with blue kevlar.

i'm in on something...just not sure what yet!

BIU - I'm willing to make the cut. Are you still able to inquire about the possibilty of creating the oem cf rear valence?

I refuse to let this thread be a fart in a wind storm! :D

Now this is just a question and only a question. Why does (or should) it matter if the rear is getting cut or not? The piece is getting replaced or covered anyways.

Possible to get the rear exhaust shrouds in piano black?

I am all for getting new rear exhaust shrouds. I would really prefer to buy them in piano black (black lacquer) instead of carbon fiber. I really have no carbon fiber on my car. Is it possible to make these in piano black? I would be willing to pay more if necessary to have them made. Thank you!

i would be willing to cut too...but...its gonna be hard to fasten and secure the new piece and BIU is right. i will never get rid of my 8 but if someone needed to how would they reattach a chunk of the plastic after its been chopped from the car.

Think they could do it?

a cover over those? hmm...

as in a CF piece that wraps around those gray trims?

i imagine it will be pretty hard to do just a cover :o

i'd actually like a CF cover for the grey area on the bottom of the MS sideskirts...

maybe another idea for the rear bumper would be an overlay for just the bottom tray of the shrouds and center piece <shrug>

i'll see what i could do about this...

but i imagine it would be pretty hard to do a cover for the gray trim area on the front and rear MS bumpers....

the sideskirts trim would be doable i think....

But wouldnt it look weird to see a CF overlay cover on top of those trim?
you could see the edges of the overlays...
