CF everything!
Its been A LONG time everyone! I havent posted on here since my car was struck by hail. Since than i purchased a set of driver side doors off a member here.
I have been a big fan of real carbon fiber mainly for the cosmetic look of it. so I decided to pick up a roll of CF and started testing it out and learning the basics of skinning parts with CF.
My first trial:
than soon I decided to use my rear door as a bigger experiment. Since it had dents all over it, i had to bondo that crap up first. Yea im adding hundreds of pounds to this door, but it is not even going to be used on my car it was purely a test subject:
I will be starting a youtube channel on carbon fiber stuff. From CF parts from molds, skinning, and random art item with CF!
Feel free to shoot me ideas of what to cf and im open to critics and suggestions!

Aren't CF parts meant to be lightweight ? Defeats the purpose just sticking it onto an OEM part, would you not make moulds of what you want in CF and then replicate them in CF or FRP ?

I'm pretty sure I'm allowed express an opinion, I am not putting down him or his efforts and fair play to him but like I already said "I personally think using a lightweight material for asthetics is pointless" You could use the film instead.

I agree with the cosmetic vs lightweight thing. but to be honest a CF hood and trunk would almost not make a difference in performance, hence its still a cosmetic upgrade in my eyes.
I like the look of CF, like those who like the real oak wood. Its a preference. And i got a lot of compliments on my toilet seat! who doesnt like to crap in style?

Maybe I will eventually be able to make a cf bath tub to go with the seats! hahaha
wheel caps are a doable idea, but id rather do something a bit bigger for now, small pieces are easy, but still take a lot of work

part 2 of the vid!
some people asked me to help them do cf parts, I probably wont be able to do any for you guys because its going to be a hassle. Shipping, wrapping/working time, shipping back. its going to cost more that way.
but watch my upcoming vids and support me!
