CCFL vs LED

So, I notice a lot of people here get the Oracle's CCFL halo/AE. Though, I have been reading up on LED halos as well, are they worth it?

I hear a lot of good arguments for CCFL, and I understand it comes down to preferences. Though, does anyone have any LED halo/AE on here with pictures? I do want a nice clean look, look fancy/new but I do not want to have that stupid beady look that I am assuming most LED halos still (and probably always will) have?

"Halo/AE" and "nice clean look, look fancy/new" should never be associated unless it is on a BMW.

Again, opinion based, but I would like some halos on my headlights like some others on here have done.

If you want to copy it that's fine, but i think halos should just stay with the bimmers...

I have a set of halos on my 8. I think it makes it look meaner at night. I would love to find a LED replacement for them, as my right side is a light short of a set.

I am reviving my thread instead of making a new one. My question is, how "hot" do CCFL get? Like, can they melt my headlight housing?

If its not a BMW, its rice.

Same goes for all these manufacturers coping Audi light designs. Just shows how original the market is. Monkey see, Monkey do!

CCFL do not get particularly hot (usually). Do you have the halogen or xenon lights?
