has anyone else seen this ad?? saw it at http://www.carismaautotec.com/ good deal?? bad deal?? i think its a pretty good deal depending on how it looks and fits..

I believe that it is sold as a 2003 in Austrailia... I don't know if that is where this company is.

Only the ships going to the States went through a time warp - everywhere else in the world it is 2003 still and our cars comply with our local time continuum.

if im not mistaken i thought the 8 in the united states went on sale as a 2004??to me its the same ****...but as mike said carisma is a good company..they have a good reputation in cali...

Thanks Mike THanks DeeDUb.. typo error from our webmaster. yeah the car came out 2003 in Japan, Australia. so its upto yoU if you trust our company Carisma. we've been in business for 7 years.

I don't get it... why would anyone want a hood that doesn't match the rest of the car's body?

seems to me that your Oakleys aren't working like their supposed too...what part of the hood doesn't match??looks fine to me...its just a mold from the stock hood...i think you need new oakleys!

On this particular car, a carbon fiber hood isn't really worth it. The hood is already aluminum so carbon fiber would save very little, if any weight. I think $500 could be better spent elsewhere.

Not to get too off-topic, but with regard to the stock hood, Mazda did a fine job. I agree that the only reason to change it out would be to make a statement...

what kind of statement are you making with a cf hood....If you want a stock looking black hood...save $495 and go buy some Krylon from wal-mart...

How much weight does the CF hood save? I think the stock hood weighs like 60 Lbs...
