Carbon Fibre Bonnet
Hi
I am a member of the UK RX8 Owners Club and only browsed this forum before, but now i need the help of yourselves 'across the pond' please.
I have recently bought a Carbon Fibre Bonnet from a guy on eBay (yeah i know i know - but there's none for sale here in the UK) who stated that it came from a company in the States (and Korea) called Shark Racing. I found their website and emailed them to ask them for some more information about the item - but they state they have never produced or sold any parts for the RX8. So i am now at a loss at to where this bonnet came from and need your help to identify it if you can.
You guys seem to know a lot about aftermarket stuff so i thought you would be the best guys to ask.
I've attached a couple of pics to help
thanks in advance

Funny you should reply mikeb
... one of my mates in the UK RX8 club posted some pics of your hood 'raw' and painted - which is one of my choices (to paint or not)
Thanks for the comment, i do love the hood in it's carbon colour (sorry color) but it might be a bit too 'Fast and Furious' for this side of the world so i was thinking of getting it painted so that the only noticeable difference would be the fake air outlet styling.
I think i will put it one raw and see how many kids shout 'Hey Vin' and then paint it when it begins to get too embarrasing.

Yeah - it's good to know it's not just a 'one off' from some fidlers workshop. BTW the two scuff marks on the top came out last night with laborious application of T-cut. Looks totally brand new now !
