What Color bulbs would be illegal to have as my parking lights? I don't want to get stopped by the cops because of my lights but I wanted to have a HID - ish yellow lights there as I'm planning on buying the HID Foglight kit as well.

Any suggestions?

 

check state laws.

Most states require all front facing lights to be while (4800K average, 6000K should be fine as well), side facing lights to be amber (side markers), and rear facing lights to be red (except reverse which must be white).

I live in Texas as well (obviously) and I've used blue LED parking lights for a few months and never got any unwanted attention for them (that's not to say you won't). I switched over to the white LED's now just for personal preference

 

I had the same thing in mine. Blue, until they burned out. Then swapped them with white LED's. I never got any unwanted attention for the 3 months or so that i had them (blue) in.
I'm in Utah, btw.

 

whoops hard to believe I missed that lol. yea, I imagine they're more lenient in Utah than Texas
