Bug/Stone Deflector and Side Wind Deflectors

Hi folks,

I've searched for side/door wind deflector and hood/bug/stone deflectors and I am not getting any where.

Are there any reason why they are not easy to find?

Thanks in advance,
Nedor

Thumbs down Because....

They are not allowed to be mounted on an RX-8 - they are so ugly, they void your "body" warranty!!

Mine's only less than 2 weeks old with 400 miles on it. While Zainoing today, I found 3 small stone chips. I was hoping to use deflector rather than buying a bra which is a lot of work to maintain. In addition, I think the front of car looks beautiful and I don't want to hide it with the mask. I read about clear bras but again, using any type of bra would probably my last choice.

I only want side wind deflector when I want to open the window a bit with out letting the rain inside.

As far as how it looks, will it really look that bad?

I don't know about a hood deflector, but if you really want them, WeatherTech offers the side window deflectors.
I have to agree with StealthTL though - IMO it will look ugly... if you get them, post pictures and we shall see

I've been searching for hood deflector but there simply isn't any out there!!!..

I guess I have to look for clear bra....

Can the clear bra be removed and pasted again when I want to clean and Zaino the car?

No. The clear bra is permanent. If you remove it, you have to throw it away and install a new one.

Thanks for the info.

I've read from their website that you can wax over it. Does that mean you can also Zaino over the clear bra?

Zaino is not recommended for the clear bra. I have one, and use regular carnuba wax for the clear bra, which is acceptable.
