bodykit painting/fitting cost

what is the avg cost of painting/fitting a full body kit?

thats kind of a general question and it depends but I would say anywhere from 1k to 2k

its about 1-1.5 k here in chicago for a good job.

thats install and painting only? cost of kit not included right?


also, where do you go for it, just search body shops?

Right, around 1k and up for install and paint. :D Yea its expensive.

Find out any recommended body shops around your area. Ask around.

it depends if you want to blend in the paint or not. Metal and fiberglass look slightly different when you paint. If you want to blend the paint to match all together, you should sand down teh side of the car and repaint...in this instance the results are nice, but it is more costly as more than just the body kit is being painted.
