body kit question!!!
I am debating whether I should get an appearance package or not because I am sure going to install a body kit.
would it be a waste of money to have an appearance package?
or it is ok?
Also, what exactly is included in the appearance package?

I wouldn't get it unless you have to get it for leather interior or something. Otherwise, just wait. The non-AP 8 looks great. I didn't want / need all the extra stuff, so I got the entry MT; therefore, I'm not sure what all it has inside.
Externally, however, it has the front air dam and areo "side skirts" and rear areo flares. The front air dam replaces, AFAIK, the black plastic piece that you see on many of the promo photos.

Uhm.. im planning on buying an rx-8 with the grand touring package... however also planning on adding the veilside version 1 body kit.
So in my case getting the 8 with that package be considered wasting money?
Cause im wanting the blk/red interior leather...

grand touring package offers leather seat.
I was talking about appearance package which is different.
I was wondering if appearance package would be a waste of money cuz i'll be installing veilside version 2 body kit.

Of course it's a waste of money, you'll be dishing out a good amount for the AP, then in a few months you going to get rid of it for another kit. So why not hold off and save that 800 bucks or whatever towards the new kit. Common sense buddy.
