seeking some opinions. I bought a can of blue "stained glass effects" paint on discount at michael's and tried it on my stormy blue.



thought it would come out clearer/not as dark. it's almost the same color as stock

I'm not sure if i like it or not

what do you think?

I don't know if I like it or not...but if I did mine white, it will be ugly.

You know you can just buy cans of color matched paint from shops right? haha. But yeah, looks bad. Good effort though

 

I like it. I got a black 8, going to get the stealth black sidemarkers, then I'm going to get some tint so they're totally black until you use em. It just looks better when you can't see the turn light until you need to. Although I heard problem with these turn lights, I don't mind fixing it up if need be.

 

you know those side markers aren't turn signals right...?

 

Heck if I know, I bought the car and got accused of being a drug dealer, sent to jail, and acquitted. Never drove the car yet and it's been 8 months since I bought it. On top of that, you don't really see these things that often. It gets down to -60 C here man. Either way I'm blacking it out so people don't see that. It goes good too because you can turn the lights off and just idle outside my house and nobody suspects anything

Careful with the acetone, it will probably damage the light, since that stuff eats plastic.

In the US, they are not. In Europe for instance (and probably a lot of other places too), they are wired as turn signals.
I wired mine also as turn signals... it has much more use and sense than the constantly-on-with-the-headlights US way

well, if you don't understand where they got the RX in RX 8, theres your problem. I just wish it had a bigger trunk, rappers like to keep money in there and take it out when they need it, but I think I'll put 2 18's in there instead, and take em out when I need to go to places where nobody will find me.
