When you have it you have to make it shiny all the time though. It looks great now but it is hard to keep it that way. Buy a metal polisher now mate.

I like chrome but, our 8s do not have a lot of chrome on them, I think it would look out of place. I'm a big fan of keeping things down to 2 colors when possible. I used to have a 2000 Neon and it was Slasa Red (burnt orange) and I kept it with just OEM trim black and the Salsa Red. I even took the small chrome grille piece and blacked out the chrome. The head lights and tail lights had black out covers on them too. Dodge copied me this past year with making the side trim black, which I had painted my trim this color back in 2000. I can't help it, I have been making my rides unique since I was able to drive and before that, my bicycle. (Schwin Stingray, the original) :D I guess I should have seen this a long time ago and tried to go into a field that I have been dabbling in since I was a kid.

 

Chrome is good in moderation

Shiny door handles are too blingy for my taste.

I'm not a big fan of chrome at all, but it may look alright on a black car, if you like chrome. Maybe if you matched it to the chrome gas cap it would look decent.
