Blackenedwings Tsunami bumper
Hey all, I just got my Tsunami bumper installed yesterday and got the car detailed. I had some extraneous stickers on the rear windows I got rid of, cleaned up the rims and I'm very happy with how it came out. The grill was not installed with the bumper so I need to take it back Monday to get them to install the grill, but it still looks pretty damn good. The grill will be directly in front of my front mounted intercooler which will be installed with the turbo next month.
The car is lowered with Tein S-tech springs, has the factory appearance package and will be getting the OEM front splash guards on Monday as well. After a lot of deliberation I decided that I actually like the look of the OEM splash guards and aero flares more than side skirts, so once I get the grill and the splash guards installed I'm going to call the exterior modifications done for the moment.

I was really nervous that they would screw up the 3-stage Shinka paint... but they did an amazing job, it matches perfectly. I was really impressed with the work they did, I would definitely have more body work done there. They did the fitment, painting, and detailing in less than a day.

That is a really good question... I really didn't want them to drill holes to ruin the bumper with a plate on the front, but I dont' want to block the oil coolers either, as I'm actually getting much lower oil temps since I put the bumper on. Currently I have the plate sitting in the window, but I know it won't be good enough for the local constabulatory. Stupid MD.

That would be great Greg! Lets chat about it tomorrow. I just got the windows tinted today, so with tinted windows, no front plate and a catless midpipe the cops are just loving me. :P

Alright, I added some pics in the second post with the tint. I think the car looks amazing, its really close to what I had originally envisioned when I started modifying it. Once I get the front splash guards, and grill on I can focus on the important stuff, the go-fast bits.

Looking good man. For some reason I think you need eyelids. It looks incomplete without them, seriously the first thing that came to mind when I looked at the pictures.
Glad they matched the shinka paint well.

Looking good man. Can't wait to see it my next time down.
If only Alfy could photoshop that in WWP..... though I suspect Paint probably won't convey the detail I would look for
