watch out dude. there was a thread on this before and the dude got flamed by a lot of people. apparently the idea is too 80's for some peoples liking.
i looked for the thread, couldnt find it, though i didnt look hard.
just ignore the haters.

I have it all.. Jealous?
tinting yellow was what they were saying, that was too 80's as far as darkening the headlights (spray painting is the cheap way as opposed to ordering the headlights) Getting the dark headlights, is supposedly a jdm mod.

Dark?
Dark headlights?
Am I missing something?
Why would.........never mind, it's probably like those Dodge truck owners who black out most of their rear lights with the stick-on plastic 'Ramhead' covers, right?

i was thinking about it on my 8...theres this guy that spray paints the inside of the covers. the only prob with that is if u get a fix it ticket , it might be a pain to get it fixed. But other than that, i think it would look good.

My sister's BF blacked out his tails and third-brake light on his Ranger by thinning black paint down with a lot of clear and spraying the outside of the lenses. They look perfectly black when the lights are off and then clear when the brakes are applied. It's a really neat effect and works really well. He tried to convince me to do the same to my 8, but it's not my thang...

I'm all for customising your ride, but futzing with primary safety equipment just doesn't make sense to me. Most of us are looking for ways to improve the headlight output, not reduce it!
