That is...very dark to say the least. I think that those only look good on WWP and BB, I thought about doing this to my VR, but I wouldnt go that dark.

um well the over lay isnt even made for cars. its like a black tint made for privacy on your house windows. bought it at lowes haha. ill get some pics with the lights on tomorrow. and as far as the blackness goes, id prefer it to be lighter but hey i thought id test it out for the price.

Looks nice.

I did mine with VHT night shades, around 5 coats and some 1000 grit sand paper. I tried an overlay but it tore while I was applying it.

Take care,

Brian

I agree you can go toooo dark. However 5 layers of VHT nightshades passed the "wife" test. I had her drive behind me, around 10 car lengths, she stated she could easily see the brake lights and running lights.

My friends are saying I should do my headlights but that is where I feel the gray area begins on safety.

I am doing my side lights hopefully this weekend if I get time.

Take care,

Brian

Nuke, what did you use on your bumper lense? Is the lense the stock amber one or a clear one?

Looks like you used a triple stage of polishing to get them to look so wet and glossy.
