i am looking for black replacements of the mazda logo emblems on the front bumper and the trunk.
are these available or am i going to end up painting the current ones?
i want to avoid painting them

Painting the current ones is your option, I haven't seen any mazda emblems for sale that are black on any of the vendors pages.

 

painting them is easy.... taking them off the front bar/boot lid is a pain in the back side!

 

I've seen some in my country. we even got carbon fibres one. or rather than paint them black try to smoked them, so it'll look like a black chromed badges.
For me, I just shaved them all off.

 

my suggestion is to buy new ones, paint them and replace all existing badges. i did mine and it was much easier then messing with the old badges. i actually ended up breaking 2 of them.
