I am wanting to buy a lambo door kit for my rx8, what kit would recommend and how much should i be expecting to pay for the kit and install

I got this kit after months of reseaching lambo door kits because this kit is 1) weld on and 2) opens out then up and 3) is much less than other kits I found

install will be $750-800
there's a Msgt that I work with who also works at an auto body shop. He does good work. I'll let you know how it turns out.

 

I had a sub 500$ lambo door kit on my 95 mustang and Imo you get what you pay for. I wouldn't put a lambo kit on unless it was GT factory, LSD, high dollar etc.

a good lambo door kit is one that is not painted black. those are the chinese knock offs. the champaign colored or the silver ones are the real good ones. also you want shocks for the door that could withhold 350 forced lbs of weight. Lambo door inc.. are a very good company to go through and they stand next to there product no matter what happens to it they will give you a new set if it ever breaks

 

The best lambo door kit for the rx8 is............................................. No lambo door kit at all.

have the GT lambo door kit on my car it works great,,shocks lasted 3 yrs and getting a new shocks for free.Then im selling it off to my friend that owns a TII(FC)
selling it cause its heavy

 

not a big fan of lambo doors on the 8. but most kits will have problems. lots of the bolt on kits make you have to position the door in the correct alignment when closing. they'll hang lower and smack the bottom if you and whoever gets in your car isn't careful.

 

I have a GT Factory Diablo kit and love it. Solid kit for sure.

I personally think the 8 looks sinister with vertical doors, but to each their own. That's why there is more than one body kit on the market.

i can get the kit for you and the best one would be the 90 degree diablo vertical door kit.
where do you stay what city and state. i can find the best place for you to get it installed.
