BB with Tsunami Kit

Just wanted to share some pics of my new Tsunami body kit. I picked it up today and I'm so happy. I have to go back tomorrow to pick up and install the Evo-R lip spoiler. Well enjoy the before and after pics. Sorry for the dark 'after' pics. I'll get better pics when the spoiler is installed and once the weather clears up.

quick question... did your kit come with the grill for the sideskirts?

cause mine didn't... but the actual tsunami-car does.

Also have you noticed that there is bad fittment where the sidemarkers used to be?

"lower it"

i swear... that's people's favorite thing to say on these forums.

Anyway, yeah... the hood fittment isn't perfect... CF hoods are always a gamble and most of the time the gaps aren't great. But thanks for the compliments.

And considering my car is only 2 months old... and all the money i poured into it... i think i better chill for a bit. Although, those Zeals are looking quite tasty.

BTW... its kind of funny that you mentioned that i lower my car.

Not 15 minutes ago, I was driving back Carl's Jr (late night snack)... that i saw a struggling raccoon probably hit by the car in front of me... it was in the middle of the road, I didn't have time to swerve or stop, so i centered over it.... and SMACK.... i felt the hit right under my seat. Haha... if my car were lowered... I think i'd have to get it detailed.

BTW... i so lost my appetitte.

Also, back on topic... do you have the same misalignment?

Nope, but the shop had some that were exactly the same as the mesh that came with the kit.

I didn't notice until you pointed it out but it doesn't line up perfectly. But you have to really look at it to notice.

I'm planning to put the Mazdaspeed suspension parts on my car in about four months. I don't really want to lower the car that much. After that, my next mod will be a Supercharger. (hint hint Hymee/Richard)

i second that too. I'm thinking that with the kit, we can safely lower it maybe 1.5 inches without it being too ridiculous.

Do you have plans for the rear?

also can you take pics of your sideskirt mesh?

I don't have any plans for the rear but maybe a rotary accent will spice it up a bit. I was thinking of putting the MS diffuser but it's too expensive.

I'll take some pictures of the sides for you when I get a chance.

For the price you pay for those parts, you can more than likely find something better

shai969 bet you debated about this kit since it got rid of the clear corners.

It is a nice looking kit. Mesh looks solid too.

Yes I did, but my fiancé has a VR RX8 so I just gave her the clear corners.

What would you recommend?

Sorry for the delay. Here are some daytime pics. The car is a little dirty as it rained the previous night.

Attached is a pic of the bad fitment. The other side fits perfectly though. I know it's hard to see but the fitment is not flush on the driver's side.

also can you take pics of your sideskirt mesh?
Here you go.

You should complain to Tsunami about the bad fitment, they are supposed to be pretty good about that. Also, the tsunami kit is supposed to be limited production and limited supply, where I would think they would try to make everything perfect...

^ When the rotors come in contact with rain or water from a hose it will be that color. The simple remedy is to just drive the car and brake and the discoloration on the rotors will be gone.

BTW, kit looks good shai. Time to make an appearance at a bay area meet don't ya think ?

Also does Tsunami have some sort of rear underspoiler/bumper like most other aftermarket body kits ?
