Badging MS front

hello, i'm planning to get the mazdaspeed kit for my rx8 soon and i was wondering how you guys would apply the mazda emblem on the front bumper, is there indicators on the back of the bumper to where to the hole are to be drilled?

Thank you,

Don't apply the front badge. It will look a lot better without it.

^I don't think that's the answer he was looking for....

All you do is buy a new badge, because it has the double sided tape already applied. Then you need to cut off the plastic pins that fit in the holes on the stock bumper. You should be able to use a razor blade or something like that. That way you don't have to worry about drilling holes in your new MS bumper and have the option of removing it easily if you get sick of it.

Buy a new badge here for only 14 bucks. http://www.rx8strakes.com/index.asp?...ROD&ProdID=339

^You can do that, but to answer your other question, yes the MS bumper does have indicators on the back side that show where to drill the holes.

The MS bumper has tabs behind it to indicate where to drill the holes.

But even if you don't drill the holes, removing the emblem still isn't a piece of cake. The adhesive is pretty strong, and if you have the emblem on the car for any length of time (i.e. over a month) it will leave a differently shaded color of paint under the emblem since the paint is protected from sunlight/fading.

It will be pretty noticeable if you remove it so beware once you go emblem'ed you ain't going back without a respray.
