Question Autolumination 194 LED's

Hey folks:

Anyone know if these LED's will work for the driving lights? I purchased the 6 LED hyperwhites and the 6 point head are now only illuminating 3 points. These are the 2nd set within 6 months.

If anyone knows if these will work, it is greatly appreciated.

Are these the ones that have three LEDS facing forward and three around the diameter?

autolumination is notorious for selling cheap LEDs that fail within a few months. I've tried buying LEDs from them and either the colors of a matching set were so off that I wouldn't use them, or if they did match they would fail within a month or two.

Now I have amber LEDs from www.v-leds.com in my clear corners and they have lasted a while with no problems.

For my parking lights I bit the bullet and bought some more expensive LEDs off of eBay.

These are very bright and very white (not as blue as autolumination, matches the HIDs better).

Thanks for the info Aipex8. How long have you had these parking lights? I haven't gone more than 2 months before the autolumination led's have failed.

If these last much longer, they are worth the $$

Thanks!

i bought a bunch of 194's from autolumination. i've had two fail on me in the last year or 2. both were in the front parking lights, one on each side. i think it's the heat that gets to them up there. so far, no failures in any of the side markers or the interior lights.

Well, I've only had them for a couple months, so I can't really vouch for longevity yet.

I'm using a 1 watt 294 LED from ebay... cheaper and better than autolumination's version.

I think I'm done with Autolumination LED bulbs. I've had a couple sets of thier 6-LED bulbs, and most of them have either had 2 or 3 of the leds burn out, or the entire thing burns out... usually within 3 or 4 months. Plus, they don't match the HIDs or my bright white fog lights, for that matter.

Does anyone know how the Raybrig Sonic White 6-LED and PIAA Xtreme White 6-LED bulbs compare to each other? I found one seller in Hong Kong selling both for the same price, but I'd like to know if anyone has compared the two in person. Or, if anyone can attest that either one is a better match than the Autolumination bulbs (too blue), I will just try them for myself.

Thanks!

The Raybrigs are 5000K, so there is a little more color than the 4300K HIDs, however it is a subtle bluish/purplish, not a saturated blue like the autolumination bulbs I've used. I'm pretty picky and was bothered by the color of the autolumiation bulbs and am not bothered by the Raybrigs if that means anything.

I haven't used the PIAA Xtreme White, but I do have a pair of the Xtreme Force LEDs which are supposed to match the 4700K Xtreme Force fog bulbs I have. They don't. They are blue, and I don't mean white with a blue tint, they are just blue.

check on ebay. Search this guy: MotoringMax.

His ebay store at http://stores.ebay.com/MotoringMax. He has a lot of LED products with awesome price.

I purchased my low beam 6000K D2S bulbs, H11 HID Conversion kit for foglight and the interior light package from him.
